The plan on this truck project keeps changing, but I think
I've got it narrowed down.I had this '67 GMC for a parts
truck originally, but decided it's too good to part out. I was
going to use a 350 small block I have to replace the ailing
305 V-6, and fix it up for my son.

My son decided to fix his other truck up instead, so now my
plan is to build a one ton using the engine and running gear
from the '64 GMC I have and some parts from the '67 parts
truck. It looks like most everything will bolt up and the only
thing I will have to find is a radiator.
I recently took the '64 GMC on trade. It has a strong 305 V6.
It has 79K miles on it and the drive train is great. It startred
life as a motorhome, and as a result the back of the cab was cut
for a passage way, and then patched with tin when the
motorhome portion was taken off. With the truck and other
parts I've gathered for my '67, I have almost everything I need
to build a nice half ton pick-up with a 350 small block and a 4
speed. Then I'll use the running gear and engine to make a nice
one ton out of the '67 .

Update: I have swapped the one ton axles and suspension,
and the v-6 from the '64. Click on the pic for a better view.

Update: 5-02 Body and paint are done on the cab. I brought
home a utility bed that will be fixed up to go on it.

Update: 9-02 Back to work. It's back on the road after 5 years.
Now it just needs some interior work.

Update: 10-03 Developed a miss over the summer. New valve job and
runs even better
