This '57 half ton was my first truck. The rancher
my Dad was working for gave it to me when I was 13
.It It had a 283 with a 3 on the tree. It was a deluxe
cab with the big back window, and a home made
wood bed. Other than a big dent in the pass door
and a leaky rear main, it was in good shape. I used it
to go to the highway to catch the bus. That's my
younger brother Tom, standing in front of it.
