I recently traded a '65 Ford F-100 for this '49 Chevy 1.5 ton truck. It
should run, but it will take alot of work. The body is pretty good and
the engine is free, but the rear brakes are rusted to the drums.
Update 06-02-03: I have finally done the brakes, and it was quite a chore.
Ended up having to change the clutch as well. Also have part
of the electrical fixed. Now have all the gauges, the two speed
rear and the hydrovac all working good. Also I had to deal
with a broken stud in the exhaust manifold outlet.
It runs and drives nice.!
